Social platform for collectors, built from the ground up

A community for collectors of sports cards, Pokémon and other trading cards, comics, coins and memorabilia. Members post to a shared feed, react and reply, join hobby groups like card shows or football cards, follow other collectors, and browse a card database and hobby news.

Emina Muharemović, senior frontend and React Native engineer

Hi, I'm Emina.

I'm a senior frontend engineer based in Sarajevo, building for web and mobile. In more than ten years I've shipped products in Angular, React, Next.js, React Native with Expo, and Electron for desktop, almost all of it in TypeScript.

I started my career at Klika, a Sarajevo software company working for large US clients. For one of the biggest US smart-bed manufacturers I built the support portal used by over 100 agents serving 500,000 customers, the app customers use to see their sleep data and control their bed, and a D3 charting library shared by the web and native apps. As a technical team lead I then set up a design system and a shared component library for a large digital payments organisation, and later built checkout flows for a buy-now-pay-later fintech.

In 2022 I registered TechVision Consulting as a sole proprietorship and started partnering directly with clients. Since then I've worked with product teams in Europe and the US on banking apps, sports and fitness apps, messaging products, websites and design systems.

I care deeply about UI and UX, and I have a keen eye for detail: layouts that match the design to the pixel, interactions that feel right, and screens that still work on a slow connection or with a screen reader. I bring the same care to the code underneath, so the next developer can pick it up easily.
